Does a bonded pair get the same XP as if they were a group of three?

30122, A little confused.

So if I was a lower level than my bondmate and got the kb on a mob, both of us would see a greater xp return?
The reason I was asking is because I was in a group of three doing pretty well. But when one left and the two of us left bonded, the xp I was seeing was very low - my bondmate at the time was several levels higher than me.

That's correct, Let's say you're fighting dark arials for example, In a group of 3 each players is awarded xp based on his level. So you and another are 36 and have a defendive shapeshifter taking blows for you that is 43 with a major form you get 500xp other dude gets 500xp shapeshifter gets 80xp
Now you bond with the shapeshifter If you get killing blow, both chars get 500xp If the shapeshifter gets killing blow, both chars get 80xp
It's probably more complicated than that, but that's how I remember it working.

30131, Yeah.

That's how I remember it as well, and I seem to remember being able to bond at 10 level differences where as you can only group at 8 level differences.

Actually I formally tested that with Twist's warrior char as one of my shifters. It's still 8 levels.
