28, Nightwalkers in the Inn
Posted by polo97 on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
Watched a fight the other day between a scion and some assassin in the Inn of the Eternal star. The scion started the fight and then fled and left his nightwalker to deal with the assassin. Is there some reason why the bouncers in the inn won't attack the Nightwalker? I think I remember seeing the bouncers attack elementals before?
Just curious, but it would make sense to me that the bouncers would attack anyone who assists the the one who starts the fight whether it be MOB or player.
thanks

In addition I would like to ask, why are nightwalkers allowed to follow an airform the way they do. I mean it is hard enough when you have some guy flying up to you and turning into some offensive beast but then to have this mob show up and start beating on you, is a bit overdone.

Nightwalkers are otherplanar- physical distance from point to point isn't a problem for them. It's very similar to how other otherplanar beings (devils, angels, etc.) can follow their conjurer after teleportation, etc. Think of it like Gate, restricted to the vicinity of the person who exerted the magical force to keep them there.

Falcons and eagles should follow druids into birdform, considering there's no reason why a falcon or eagle couldn't keep pace with a condor. Any thoughts on that?
