What exactly is the advantage to this edge?

Thanks, I read the helpfile and the wiki. My point is why would anyone want that? Especially enough to spend edge points on it.

Because it's probably really cheap, and it means you don't have to carry around umpteen flight talismans and/or distribute boats to all your undead.

One flight talisman for the times you need your storm giant corpses to go up to the caves isn't hard :)

Technically, they don't breath at all. Functionally, it may be of little to no difference, but that's the actual case :P

I think it's interesting/useful. If you don't, don't take it. There's a lot of edges and they don't all appeal to everyone.

I've always felt that if some edge doesn't add up in the cost vs. usefulness side, there's usually some other factor there. Edges like this and Demielemental Transcendence make sense to me simply for the "cool factor" and RP value. Imagine the bad-ass role chapter you can write about flesh crafting after you take this edge.

Not only that, but I bet anything if you take an edge purely for the RP value and then make a point to actually incorporate it into your character's role and roleplay, you're probably going to get noticed for it. Your character's probably not oblivious to the prowesses that earned you those edges.
