27370, hunter's glow
Posted by Isildur on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
HUNTER'S GLOW 'HUNTERS GLOW' Warriors with this edge are well trained in the common dark elven tactic of painting enemies with faerie fire and then stabbing them repeatedly; it helps to keep them in sight and in focus even in the chaos of battle. This has no affect on battles in direct sunlight (daytime and outdoors).
What does this do? Make you hit harder against FF'd people? Hit more often?

27376, Purely a guess

But based on the helpfile, it sounds like it gives you a boost in your ability to actually land hits (similar to hitroll). It sounds like it is also only available to Dark-Elven warriors who use their inherent faerie fire on people (or maybe just anyone affected by faerie fire).

I would also speculate (though this might go too far as a stretch) that the edge could possibly negate the anti-gank code. But I don't know why I'm writing this potential #### when the Imms can just answer...

...it's a very minor soften.

27372, I think you're thinking of Malefic Glow.

The AP one.
Hunter's Glow is either the generic d-elf, or the warrior one or something similar.

Pretty sure it's only available to dark-elf warriors. I just can't figure out from the help file what it does.
