27073, Shadowdrag

Just since it's on the bug board, and it's something I've wondered about as well, having played two prominant binders (Calheil & Valryn).

I'd generally have to agree with the current disappointment as everyone else has mentioned about shadowdrag. Given the sub-set of binder skills is about preventing people from doing things, this being the capstone skill of the set, and they have to be fully trussed to be able to use it, it seems very non-functional.

As it stands now, yeah, it's only two thief points, but I still don't think I'd ever pick the skill up again. It's just that non-useful. I've honestly found it MORE useful to knock out my own allies so I could truss them, and then shadowdrag them, than I have to use it on people I'm trying to kill.

I can understand coming out of the shadows if you're actually free to do something (say you've been trussed and shadowdragged but not gagged). But if you've got someone gagged for example, and they try to say something, it still brings them out.

Anyways, just figured it'd be a much more feasable place to discuss it on gameplay, than it is on the bug board.
27078, Come on, don't you see the power?

It's totally for "guy in the van with candy" on your groupmates. Just trust me with tying you up and I can hide you from other people and protect you!

The only application I can see for this crap skill is maybe hiding someone's A/B/S creature so they don't know where it went....but that is a huge stretch.

And yeah if my sarcasm isn't apparent enough, the skill is ass....as are most high level thief skills like pepper dust.
27074, I was surprised that it is by design.

Definitely think the IMM's should change their mind on this one, or change the name of the skill.
27077, I'm of the same mind. Unaware before, confused now. nt
