26848, Dark Pact feedback

I’ve put some use into dark pact and still find it to be a relatively bland skill. Here are a couple of suggestions I have to boost it just a little. Allow the healer to sense through the bond when their supplications have fallen or were dispelled. Example you feel Paul’s soul weaken as his aura fades or some variation. Another idea I had was allowing the healer to siphon a bit of mana from whoever has bond with them. Say the healer gains 150 max mana and the other person loses 150 max mana. In my opinion dark pact is very niche right now and needs a little more flavor.

Being able to heal/cure someone else at dramatically greater effectiveness is niche?

Good healers can already do this. Evil can only do it to one person at a time. From my experience with it I thought it would be nice to have a little more boost. Even an edge to boost it would be nice.

Yup. It takes this to about make evil healers fair, although a lot of people will disagree.
26889, Have you ever been on the receiving side of dark pact?

Gotta love being healed in a long fight versus a mob and auto-fleeing since your morale is the lowest possible....or dropping your weapons because you've no strength. Even more fun to have positive saves.

I've seen it used by like 3 healers and frankly I just tell them to get more mana since dark pact is that bad.
26891, Yea, I hated it too. Hated it.

I'd rather go healerless than have it on me.

In general, you think morale is much, much more powerful than it actually is. If it wouldn't seem so ridiculous, I would insert about ten more 'much'es into that sentence.
