You feel much too macho to scream about being attacked like some kind of sissy.
You are affected by:
Skill: 'sneak' for 38 hours.
Skill: 'dark vision' for 27 hours.
Skill: 'heightened awareness' for 23 hours.
Skill: 'detect hidden' for 23 hours.
Power: 'trepidation' modifies wisdom by -2 for 22 hours.
Spell: 'armor' modifies armor class by -20 for 16 hours.
Spell: 'protection from good' for 16 hours.
Power: 'bioempathy' for 9 hours.
Skill: 'endure' modifies armor class by -38 for 8 hours.
Skill: 'endure' modifies save vs spell by -19 for 8 hours.
Spell: 'fly' for 3 hours.
Skill: 'cripple' modifies dexterity by -3 for 2 hours.
Skill: 'cripple' modifies strength by -3 for 2 hours.
Meh, and that's with the ambush cripple edge and a half decent bow. Just seems a little disappointing that cripple does so little for such a short time.

As quoted from 'help ambush':
Wielding different weapons will affect the success and effect of different variants of ambush.
Pretty sure Bows are pretty crappy for most (all?) types of ambushes.

The serpent strikes are minor at best and the aimed shots not only relatively minor, but highly unreliable.
Yeah, I know it sounds like I'm whining. And I am. But this is a build that ought to be a crap load more fun than it is. Probably why it's relatively rare compared to other ranger builds.
