While CF has a calendar, there is no year or other player-facing system that can be used to form a time line. Have you (the Staff) ever developed a system for recording events in Carrion Fields, or have any ideas on how to? Is real-life time the best way to go about this?

I prefer the semi-ambiguous timeline. A fixed timeline would feel too forced, and eventually you'd have to explain why it's been 20,000 years and they haven't invented firearms or airplanes yet.
