Do you guys see any reason to not give Nexuns a small bonus for prep usage?

I thought it would be a really neat/small perk for Nexus when they use prot vs. align that it would always help for what's tipping the balance instead of the normal neutral dice roll and hope you get the right one. And if alignment is balance then it just turned into the normal dice roll again.

Nothing huge, but something that I think fits very RP wise and mechanic wise.

I think this would be sort of a mixed bag. There are diminishing returns on stacking protection on Vanguard.

So let's say I'm Nexus, and good is really cleaning up, so I want to fight them, but there are still evil characters out there who will try to kill me.

Is it better for me to have:

A) Protection from good, which won't do much on top of my Vanguard-protection, but will help a little bit as I fight goods or

B) Protection from evil, which would work at full strength and help me survive the occasional A-P bashing me?

I didn't know how diminishing the returns would be from stacking it. I figured if it would be full strength it'd be a nice perk. But if it's decreased from Vanguard's it's perfect how it is I'd say. Thanks for the response and I guess it's time for me to try my first Nexun.

As a neutral it's random which alignment it grants protectino from, Guilo is recommending as a nexun that you increase the chances of it protecting against whoever is in power (in essence improving the chances that it stacks with vanguard).

Maybe as a cabal specific edge as opposed to giving it to every nexun.
