24571, Paladin Infravision

Just wondering what people thought about this idea.
Only reason I bring it up is that paladins have detect invis, why not something that allows them to see in the dark as well? I should think that in the infinite power of the gods of light they would be able to give the eyes of their chosen knights the ability to "pierce through the shroud of darkness" and see as clearly in night as they can in day...or something to that effect.
Just a random thought that entered my mind while I was looking over the supplications for them and noticed that there was nothing there.

Probably around 80% of the playerbase gets some sort of class-based or race-based infravision, the rest have an easy enough job with finding a wearable glowing object to get by. I don't see much reason for paladins, who focus on battling evil and protecting the innocent, to suddenly learn a spell that has little to do with their goals.
That being said, there's already a generic infravision-type skill that anybody can learn who does not already have that ability. Work on your observation experience to gain it.
