There are some quests that give you commerce xp, and possibly observation/exploration as well. Those would probably help with edges.

"Quest participation" indicates immortal-run, not automated quests.

Quests that grant XP-rewards? Does that bonus XP go towards edge points, even if the act of completing a quest doesn't?

I can think of a couple quests that grant some commerce XP; they give you an echo something like 'You feel that you've also learned more about commerce.' In these cases, the 250 commerce XP or whatever you get acts like normal commerce XP, which is worth something edgewise.

Of course, you can also get commerce XP in the usual ways.

The ones where you get a skill-improvement every 500 exp of reward.

Considering I think I wrote all of those quests, what I said stands. :)

Just automated quests of any sort that award XP.

I've had a couple characters that I used to complete a rather large number of automated quests. Those characters had far more edges than my others. I suppose it was more from exploration/commerce experience then.

For example, if I got around 6 edges from exploration/observation then got the another amount of exp from exploration/observation as the first six, but not a single edge popping up anymore in the discuss list, not even the roots one. Is there a cap to each source but Imm exp?
