I have been running into more and more of them of late and I am stuck in how to approach interacting with them. On the one hand they don't know what the hell they are talking about 98% of the time and you really should just not respond...

but on the other hand its just so ludacris it invokes the desire to perpetrate phsyical violence through the computer on the player and they end up sucking me into interacting. And once I am in that mood the quality of interaction just degradates so quickley and I find myself sounding like them.


Is there any way to interact with these people or should they simply not be interacted with in any way other then murder? Do imms mind if you simply stop role playing with griefers on the vocal level?

1) If they go OOC, send up a quick pray and ask for a staff member to listen in. If someone's available, I can bet it will stop quickly.

2) If it's IC, you can either use the ignore feature or just not read their tells. Honestly, once you realize they're just being a jackass, it works better than anything else. And if you can't walk away without responding, ask if you're all that much better than the initiator.

What I do is assume that their char is staying IC and respond according to that. If I can't do that, I'll just ignore them.

Stay IC, pray about it if they bother you to the untolerable limit.

What I enjoy about being a Paladin is that I can kill with kindness and being the better person. They show you hate.. you give them compassion. They will become frustrated and leave you alone.
