Anybody have advice for legacies for a sword/HtH Cloud giant?

Just curious.

Chilling Embrace - Extra dam roll for when you're using fists, and lack weapon dam roll.

Cry of Thunder - Another huge damage boost for those big flurries/pummels.

Landslide of the Second Breath - Beat people up with swords while driving them (trip lag), then throw out the big flurry when they least suspect it.

Surrounding the Sunrise - If you're fighting multiple foes at once a lot of times (e.g. Nexus vs. Battle, or vice versa).

Greeting the Avalanche - More powerful bashes (in every respect).

Fires of Adversity - Would be decent with high Cloud giant HP's. I think all of my hero cloud giants have had roughly 1050-1100 hps.

There's a lot of other utility options available also. It just really depends on who you're fighting, or what you really have the most trouble with. I routinely have trouble getting slept by anti-paladin's, necromancers and thieves as my cloud giants, so "Place of the Raging River" might not be a bad idea.

Also, shamans always gave me huge trouble as a cloud giant. You might consider taking Forsaken Thoughts to help with that, and also cover some wrath/divine vulnerability that cloud giants have.

At the unofficial site (qhcf.net), there is a warrior page that lists the legacies, and give a brief description of what they are suspected to do.

Just read the helpfiles for the legacies. Some should jump out at you as well-suited or poorly-suited to giants, given that giants are 1) large, 2) strong, 3) not that dextrous, 4) not that intelligent.

Anything that revolves around being small, smart or agile should probably be ignored.

Or should I use maces instead of hands?

Depends on what you're after.

I'd probably base your choices on what kinds of fights give you trouble as-is.
