20654, Cabal Member Commands

I think it might be interesting and useful to know who is in which respective cabal. And by respective, I mean if you're in the Empire, there's a command where it lists all the members of the Empire with their respective rank in the sect. When someone logs on, the...Vanquisher?...says welcome blah blah whatever anyways. This way, you can keep a track of how you want to play your game ie give the big 90 charge weapon to a black servant or an elite.

Similar to other cabals (Battle = who is a scout, defender, berserker). It's a bit silly to ask your own cabalmate "hey, are you a scout or a defender?"

Not sure exactly what you're asking for here. 'who <cabal>' returns everyone in your Cabal that you can see. The titles for Imperials are fixed and are representative of their rank in their Sect.

If you mean use this to see everyone in the Cabal, regardless of if they're on or not, I'm not a huge fan. Meet them IC and develop your relationships that way.

Scout, berserker, etc.

I think even putting something like that in would give even more reason for people not to interact with their cabal members. I don't see an issue with just asking someone, in the way your character would, what their talents are within the cabal.
20664, I think it would be good

Other Ragers should be able to know what other Ragers know how to do. Commands like "consider" already do this sort of thing, and adding a string to its output for Ragers only which would tell them what path they took makes sense.

Given that player times don't overlap, it's hard to know who's what in a cabal. I think it would in fact develop your relationship better so that you have a slight precedence in knowing other members of your cabal.

From an IC point of view, it would be unusual for members of the Empire, Battle, Fortress, etc. not to know each other. This command would slightly fill in the space of players when they aren't on together, thus increasing RP opportunities.

who's going to use this just to have a storage character, and randomly just check to see who's in the cabal. I say effort vs. reward is just keep it the old way.

This is why I wouldn't do anything that lists out all characters in a cabal and what their focus is. Now adding something to consider, so that you actually have to be in the room with them might be interesting, but not high on my list. If you REALLY want the information...talk to them. The people who are making the argument that you'd "just know" are full of crap. Just because you're both in the same club, doesn't mean you automatically know everything about each other.
