Hi

I have been using the OFFICIALS java mud client for a while and
it really helps cause I am not home often, and its the only way
I really can play anymore being so busy. My characters hero
often and I dont rank sit or any of that stuff, so maybe I could
deserve some help from Zhulg or someone plz.

You are able to set the buffer, so you dont lag bad. Well... I
set it to 200 and I notice after hours of mudding, I can
look back all the way to skull. So I dont think its working.
It wouldnt be bad, but now I have to regain link every 15 minutes.
My other option is having a perma 1-3round lag when fighting anyone

My last char got hamstrung, stabbed, fled and got underhanded
before I could enter any commands after 20 minutes of login.
*sigh* please help. I'll send a paypal for some cash if needed

Thanks for any help brought to this subject

Disclaimer: I will keep using this client even if not fixed. But
I think people are tired of getting sweet loot so ez.
20452, The client is not something we own...

If there are issues with the client, I'd take them up with the owners.

There are a couple clients that don't require windows installation, i.e. you could put one on a USB thumb drive and run it from there. Just an idea.
20448, This wont help

I know the only fix for me anymore, is java client being fixed.
I cant do anything to the comp I use, instal blah blah blah. I understand people will try to help with alternatives, that wont help. No more krilcov I guess if the buffer doesnt get fixed. Huzza

Like I said, you don't need to install anything. If the thing has a USB slot and if you can run executables, then you could use something like yTin.
