I Just passed a fox and rabbit sitting next to each other doing nothing but just, stay there, Empty in the room.

I was thinking it would be cool to add some sort of hunters vs prey battles. Maybe just make it randomly happen or something. Like Foxes, Wolves, Maybe Hunters and stuff slaying what they normally would eat like rabbits, birds, Turtles even.

Something like you walk in and see the battle going on. Or maybe not even a battle, maybe just an echo of "A red fox pounces on a Rabbit"

Well I just thought it would add more of a feeling to the realm, Not just a you walking around wile the world watches

This is only tangentially related to your question, but I've always thought it would be cool if some powerful immortal decided to throw a "tournament" of sorts, where they pitted various NPCs against each other in a fight to the death.

Shadar Lunn vs. the Ancient Red Dragon. Stuff like that. Would be cool to watch. Players could place side bets.

So long as each NPC's reason for fighting in the "tournament" made sense, it would be a great event to RP around. At worst, anything that attracts a lot of players to particular locales will give ample opportunity for them to RP.

But it could also provide a new flavor of group vs. group RP. Each cabal, religion, race, etc. could pick a champion, whom they would have to protect before fights. Thieves could try to manipulate the betting; assassins could try to "change the odds"; Tribunals could try to keep order. Since the winning NPCs would receive prizes (read: loot), the event would carry on even after the tournament is officially over. And that's just the most obvious event-focused stuff that could happen.

I love the idea primarily because of the positive effect it could have on RP.

I was thinking they'd have no choice. Like, maybe some evil immortal just transports them into an arena for his own amusement. He's an immortal; he can do that.

maybe kind of like the oblivion arena! LIke red team vs blue team! with rankings! and maybe how offten you compete in the arena, or your title in the arena will effect your title else where! Skadfakj Champion of the arena, Sawela Hero of the arena or something

Slayer vs Enforcer. Those fights were scary.

Just not in every area.
