19089, Sympathetic conjuring

'SYMPATHETIC CONJURING' Some conjurers possess the edge of understanding the mystical connections between the Prime and Inner Planes. Such a mage can conjure a more powerful elemental in terrain more closely attuned to its element: in the skies for air elementals, beneath the waves for water elementals, in places of great heat or blaze for fire elementals, and within stony caverns for earth elementals.

Now, all of these make sense except for air You can't make a circle in the air, so does this simply mean places you could case say the spells windwall/vortex? Or is this some specific room flag that I'd have to search for?

You are correct in thinking you can't use this edge for some kinds of elementals without eschewing a circle. This did factor into my thinking during the edge's design.

You can't make circles in the air or on/under water. You can still conjure however. So with sympathetic conjuring if you're flying in the air like above the canyon on th way to Arial City then you have a better chance of conjuring a stronger air elemental. The same applies if you call a water elemental when you're Beneath the Waves of the Dragon Sea.
Of course without a circle you have no protection if you conjure an aggro servitor. But generally if you conjure an elemental in its element then it lessens the chances of it being aggro.

I know I can make circles in areas that count as water... Its just air I'm wondering if there are rooms with floors that count as in the air, like the top of a mountain would be pretty in the air I would think. Just as a swamp is in the water..
