18774, Inquisitor edge
Posted by Scrimbul on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
Seeing as how I had this edge and most, if not every, shaman I have met since either has taken it or plans to take it...
And this edge seems to have no downsides other than it's cost...
Are there any thoughts to it's current cost? It seems like it's only moderately expensive and isn't supposed to be something everyone and their mom should be taking by default but rather it varies by RP whether they should be by description an 'Inquisitor' torturer type shaman as opposed to a mere zealot.

It seems vastly less useful for good-aligned shamans.

I think the edge is sort of marginal for its cost unless you plan to use demonfire on your own alignment reasonably often, but your mileage may vary.

Long story short, I periodically revisit edge costs, and if I feel like something's become a default choice for all/most members of a class (and correctly so), it tends to become more expensive.

18775, Ditto this question for every similar 'power-up' type edge.

I'd rather have a discussion of criteria using this as an example.
