I have had my forms for a while but the increase to mana cost for your minor focus and decrease for major focus is not great (Thanks Liam!) My major defense form costs me 70 mana a tick to stay in form so after about 10 ticks, cabal raid/long group battle I have to revert, piss off somewhere, then recouperate mana. I would ask that they get toned down a little in cost or scrap Liam's idea altogether. Warriors dont fail their 2nd specs more often or cost more mvs to do them. This change as it is just weakens shifters too much.

No form should be 70 mana a tick, much less a major. Got a log to send me?

even if its costing you that much, a hero shifter slowed and sleeping should be able to fully regen 1k or more mana in less then 6 ticks. And you got word and teleport as well as your feet to get to a safe place to regen fairly easily, and to get you back into the fight faster.
also are you confident in the form yet? after you hit that the mana should drop significantly.

You haven't reached the highest level of confident yet. It will not always cost 70 mana per hour. Relax!
And my griffon cost me 60 mana per hour for a long time but I didn't complain. When I first started, it cost 120. No kidding. And A LOT of moves to get about. It didn't settle at 30 mana until much later, and even that was ghastly compared to 14 for hold the hyena and 18 for the tiger.
It was actually why I thought 3 foci would be easily managed if the lowest focus cost a bundle (in my head, imagining 50-60 per hour). You sacrifice a lot of mana to use those abilities. Even 30 per hour quickly adds up.
