This is an edge i had right back when edges first came out (my first hero!) and I was never quite sure of its effect back then but after learning hands used to be easy to parry I would assume whirlwind of steel meant my arial would be parried less than usual.

Looking over Fhaen's logs, I can't tell at all what its meant to do. My own dagger/whip spec had about the same success as far as striking with easily parried weapons and in volume of strikes. With an arial, I would have assumed there'd be some noticable difference. Especially as almost all his fights opened with hamstring (drastically increasing the dex advantage on your target). I seem to remember someone saying it stacked with enhanced reactions, so I'm still assuming it makes easily parried weapons harder to parry. But are we sure its working right/is well balanced with new changes? Just wanted to make sure, thanks!

I saw someone with the legacy recently. They were fighting a slowed mob, a la opal wand, and they were getting five hits with their mainhand wield. It didn't just happen one round of combat, this happened several rounds. I'd guess somewhere between 4-6 rounds of combat I saw five hits from the mainhand wield. A couple of the rounds were back-to-back.

I don't know if that helps any, but I was certainly impressed.

The legacy is basically about number of attacks.

As a warrior you think, okay, I've got fourth attack and dual wield, I'm going to take eight attacks a round? How often does that really happen?

A whirlwind character could realistically see a lot of 8 or even more attack rounds.

I re-checked all his logs, especially ones where he hamstrung his foe and bloodthirsted, and I have found 2 rounds where he gets 6 attacks. Both in the same fight vs fordun where he hamstrung him and was thirsting. His average was still just under 4 attacks per round (Counting only the fights he dualwielded).

Nowhere did I see anything that indicated he was getting more attacks at all. And we're not talking a small sample. There were a lot of logs posted. 8 attacks? No chance.

your looking at 3 different things stacking on top of enhanced reactions and while I am not sure exactly how they stack each seems to be able to add an extra attack so you can potentially have 11 or more attacks in a round under ideal conditions with the rng on your side (that in addition to concealed and ripostes)

Umm, the char in question actually was a arial dagger spec with whirlwind. And if you bother to look at the PBF you'll see the
character had 100% on enhanced reactions.
