The premise:

8222tnl(53.02%)2 AM wield pickaxe
A two-headed pickaxe with tips of diamond is too light to wield while dual wielding a sword of honor.
A wildcat is writhing in agony.

8222tnl(53.02%)2 AM disem
You must wield an axe in your primary hand to disembowel your opponent.
A wildcat dodges your wrath.
Your slash maims a wildcat!
A wildcat dodges your wrath.
A wildcat dodges your wrath.
A wildcat dodges your slash.
You parry a wildcat's claw.
A wildcat's claw MASSACRES you!
You sure are BLEEDING!
PANIC! You couldn't escape!
A wildcat is writhing in agony.

This wield seems wrong. I would like to see it so that no matter what you wield, it will go into that wield spot and remove whatever is in your dual wield if it's not compatable. Realistically if you want to wield an axe that's lighter why hold on to that heavier sword in the offhand.

Is this something that was overlooked? Purposely kept in? Or just not possible to do? Or none of the above?

It wasn't overlooked, it was a conscious decision, since it seemed for every person who wants it this way, there is someone who wants it the way it is. There isn't a way to get the best of both worlds.

Yes? No? Maybe? Same difference probably since people would forget to add the argument... but it would give people an option they don't currently have.
