16319, Assassin Edge Ideas

I'll forego the direct skill-enhancing edges and focus on some of the more interesting ideas I have.

-Nightstalker - An assassin with this edge has learned to skulk in the darker shadows of night and may perform a variety of actions without stepping out of hiding.
Benefits: Can say, eat, drink, bindwounds, and (successfully) strangle without becoming visible.

-Nerve-using guy - An assassin specialized in striking at vulnerable points has a wider array of possible weak spots to exploit. The spot chosen is random.
Benefits: Nerve has additional effects, such as:
Shoulderblade: Weapon drop
Achilles heel: Increased movement cost to victim
Throat: Deafen
Temple: *** DEMOLISH *** damage

- Shadowstepper - Assassins with this edge remain hidden after a successful vanish
Benefits: Hide/remain hidden after a successful vanish

- Monk's Grace - Assassins with this edge find their reflexes enhanced when fighting barehanded
Benefits: Bonus to unarmed defense, backfist, and tigerclaw

I have a few others and will add them to this threat later.

Better name for this edge idea, would be 'Pressure point specialist'.

But how would that be consistent with such other names as "good at poison dagger guy"?

Sufficiently slender assassins with this edge get an extra bonus to success probability on characters of the same gender, because they can slip into a person's personal space more easily than a normally dressed person. (Pretty much every race but felar). :)

Yes, this is a joke. It would also be unbalanced if anything remotely like this went in.

Instead of gender, it could be with race... An assassin would know more of the anatomy of their own race.

Perhaps skills like nerve, kot, kan, would be working more often/better.. ?

I thought that a cross-dressing specialist edge would allow you to use the opposite genders gender only gear.
16329, Nah, that would need the "Master Cross-dresser" edge... /nt
