So I was wondering. I've noticed that the most common/popular race choice for APs is fire giant due to the prime stat being str and giants not exactly having a shortage of that stat. Then I notice folks like playing Dark-Elf APs. Yet I keep reading in the Battlefields that they're tough to play. However, I barely see any Felar APs. How come? Wouldn't that mean playing a felar AP is a lot harder than playing a dark-elf AP?

Also, are there any non-fire/human APs on the premium battlefields? It's kind of hard to do a search on that particular board due to PK stats regarding classes.

D-elf and felar I think are equally hard. Felar has lower int & str plus two vulns, but d-elfs have a vuln more easily exploited and the hp of a newborn. The reason I think you see more attempts at the d-elf a-p is the flavor of it, sinister little bastards. You'll notice very few of either race make it into the 40+ levels. As for the pbf pages, the race you'll find most besides fire giants is duergar. To do a search use worldbind, it'll show any a-ps that were 42+. Or "unholy blessing" for any 36+.
