14316, Super Specs

I think there has been discussion on this before, but Pro talking about the offhand jab, and whoever made the "brawler" Imperial a few months back made me think about it. Anyone have any ideas for this sort of thing? Is there any possibilty of this ever happening? I think this would be a great add, but maybe it would make the warrior class TOO diverse.

Meaning, instead of two weapon specs you'd have only one with more skills or something?
14318, I think he means doing something to a lesser picked Legacy...

To encourage people to use the lesser picked/powerful/useful legacies.

Such as 1 Good Legacy, + 1 Medium/Less Legacy = Bonus = total 2 Good Legacies.

As it is now, with certain Legacy Combos 1 + 1 = 2 1/2.

Of course you have certain legacies that tend to favor each other, this is their shot at getting the lesser picked ones in greater favor. I think.

Yeah, sorry for not clarifying. More skills, better at the "base" set of spec skills, maybe better defense, tougher to disarm, better offense etc. For instance, additions to cross. If they are wielding a pole or axe, or anything where the swords would "hook" the weapon, there would be a chance for disarm. Also, something similair to disembowel, where the kick from the swordsman leaves the opponent so disoriented that he has the time to draw his swords back and make a double-bladed decapitating move. Not sure if this would make certain combos overpowered, I'm thinking of a cloud giant axe berserker with "extra" prowess in the axe. That could be ri-goddamn-diculous. Maybe to balance you would lose proficiency in other non-related weapons. Maybe a sword spec is so dedicated to swords that he forgets, or just doesn't care to learn how to properly use a spear/staff, a pike, or two handed weapons. He has a tougher time dual-wielding generally heavier axe/mace type weapons. He remains fairly proficient with daggers. Loses some ability in whips/flails. Not sure how that would all pan out, just some ideas I guess.

I tend to think as it is, there are a lot of spec combos where the other spec is rarely if ever used. Example, Sword-bash spec giant. I'm not sure I'd want to make something as one-dimensional as that even MORE powerful.

Now, on the other hand, if the finesse required them to lose bash, well I'd be ok with that. I don't know, I think the class is so diverse, this really wouldn't do much except create more temporary ballance issues and take up a lot of coding time on a class that is already the most popular and overall 'good' class in the game, combat-wise.
