Shouldn't warm wind blow from the north on the southern continent and cold wind from the south? Or are the weather patterns of Thera just that way?

Southern is relative. People could present a decent arguement of cuba being a southern landmass compared to North America, but warm still comes from the south there! (I think?)

I can't believe someone would even bring something like this up. But as long as we're on the subject, shouldn't people smell like salt water after swimming in the ocean? Maybe the staff should add a (Saltwatery) flag to people so it's obvious they've been swimming. Or maybe the flag should just be (Wet) to cover freshwater swimming as well.

If we're being that picky, remember only a small portion are actually SWIMMING. Most people take boats, remember?

They'd get the (Sunburnt) flag if they've been spending time on the sea during the day. That flag also applies to people who spend time anywhere outdoors, but comes most quickly on mountains, the desert and water areas. I don't know why you pointed that out, since the (Subnburnt) flag is so obvious.

Applicable to all dwarves, duergar, and orc constantly, and any other character that has not stood outside during rainy weather or travelled through water in the last 72 game hours.

I think the most obvious choice would be a (Bloody Armor) flag. I mean, when you kill stuff and it "splatters blood on your armor", shouldn't everyone know?

Meteorologically speaking, not necessarity. Wind and weather patterns are affected by many features, including geological feature, water currents, lunar cycles, rotation and axis angles, and other magical stuff. In a common sense way, assume the polar caps are at the north and south, and they are cold and assuming a cold front in moving north (or south, as appropriate)...sure, if you want. Personally, I would love to not have all the details, it tends to bog things down a bit. Wind direction hasn't been an issue in a decade-plus, likely it won't unless a coder is very, very bored.

Silly ideas for coding like this, distract from my chances of getting my Sliger done.
