I've seen people stop just before this level because there really is no point to getting there depending on your HP gains and whether you have 6 or 7 practices left. The ability to locate level 51 objects, whee. The spell save issue is negligible when you're talking about one level.

Have you thought about simply granting an extra training session at 51 much like all the 5's and 10's before it? It would give a few RP chars struggling through hero range near con death a reason to push on, help those paladins with virtues and no practices, or quest skill earners get an extra practice to put into the new skill etc.

Even if people just blow it on an extra 10 HP, I'd really just like to see perks for reaching 51 especially for those classes that don't get a skill at those levels (i.e. pretty much every class but conjurer)

I've never seen a character sit at 50. I don't see any reason to just hand every hero +10 hp.

Not true. Before the everyone 47+ in the same PK, storm paladins did it a lot. But not anymore =P

So... it used to not be true, but it is true now. Is really what you're saying. So in essence, you're agreeing with Valg, only trying to disagree at the same time! Don't hurt yourself!

It did seem somewhat anti-climactic. I was hoping for an echo, or something when I got my first one. Hell even an echo of a tell from your guildmaster(or when you go by one again)saying something like "you have learned all I can teach you, well done blah blah" you get the idea. Anything really would ice the cake for making hero.
