Entwine is a great skill.
I've used it to seal kills and its been used on me as well. Against classes that word, it is only so helpful against them if they are able to recall.
Entwine is almost like a mini-forceduel in many ways. Against some classes you are saying this is a balls to the walls fight and its to the death.
I've noticed when we entwine we can still flee, though they can not. For both realism reasons and game mechanic reasons, shouldn't there be further drawbacks to mobility other than the slighly reduced dodging and requirement to rewield a weapon?
While I don't advocate not being able to flee at all, shouldn't not entwining someone with your weapon wrapped around them either A) Reduce Chance of Fleeing Greatly or B) Leave the Weapon behind if you flee?
Just thoughts on game balance and common sense.
PS: Is it just me or are there a TON of other flail specialists running around? Entwine hasn't changed forever, so why are flail specialists so popular all of a sudden?

In reality, flail is a hard weapon to parry/block with shield. Recently, some weapon parry stuff were changed to match reality. I think that people use flails more since they are hard to defend against.

Personally I have encountered too many flail/whip wielders who defend way to well. WAY TO WELL. And dodging while trying to use a whip/flail? If you watch someone using a bullwhip they have to be stationary to hit so I think that too should be considered.
It should work both ways, sure I can not defend against your whip/flail but my two swords are going to rip you a new pie hole too.
