10924, Cursing in Character and in Cabals

I always wondered what the immortal view is on characters cursing, and in particular, dropping the F-bomb? I am aware that it gets used in a non realistic, whiny manner, especially since when I played Runaktla I was treated to a whole bunch of it spammed in succession from some certain Fortress Conjurer that later got caught cheating, but I believe it can be done in a reasonable, good-to- flesh-out-the-character way as well.
I recall the last time that I remembered someone who cussed that fit himself was Tikar, and that was when I played Vaustrien. Seeing him shout orders like "Get the f*ck over here, now" or "Let's f*cking kill them" fit a bullying fire giant anti-paladin personality well. If he would have instead said "Fargin' get over here, now!" my mental image of him would have turned into a dark knight with an identity crisis (no offense Aarn but that just does not jive with a fire giant in my mind.)
I'm not trying to ask for pre-approval of a future character with tourrets syndrome, just one that doesn't shy away from talking crudely using curse words or slandering words - and only using crude words that would fit in the Carrionfields-style world. I'm not going to start calling Outlanders zipperheads or anything.
Immortal (and mortal) opinions please?

I've played characters that used the F-bomb, but only when I thought that it fit their RP (duergar AP, for example). It certainly wasn't constant or anything. I thought your example of how Tikar used it would work for me as well. The word has been around for a long time (though it used to be only a verb), so I certainly wouldn't call it modern.
That being said, I'm in the Navy - the phrase, "Curse like a sailor" didn't just make itself up. So I have thick skin when it comes to swear words. Not all players do. This is why I'm also fine with "Fargin'" and "Frickin" and other curse or swear words/phrases that folks come up with that aren't quite as offensive ("By Thror's Grungy Loincloth!").
When I don't like to see it: "F*ck you, you killed me!", when it is used just for shock value, or when someone like an elf or paladin uses it. That, to me, is the player coming through the character, which I don't like.

In my personal opinion, swearing on CF with real-world swear words, is NEVER a good thing. In particular the "F-bomb". In every situation I can think of, it just smacks of OOCness. It makes me think that the player is pissed off to the extent that they're letting OOC emotions show through.
That's not to say it's impossible to use real-world cursing in an appropriate manner, but I don't believe it ever works out that way. It doesn't take too much effort to put a little tiny bit of Cf-ness into the moment.
