10755, Two questions pertaining to orcs
Posted by Drag0nSt0rm on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
First, does crushing assult effect mobs on the dexerity penalities? Because I see mobs do ALOT of dodging after I crushing assult,
Two, why don't Orcs have free passage in the keep of Fhalagush?
Thanks for your time.

I wont comment on crushing assault because I have no clue as of yet.

But Fhalaugaush (spelling is way wrong) is the OTHER orc village. They are anti-Grinning Skull which means they will try and kill you.

10759, So how about mutliple hometowns for orcs then?

I'm sure putting in a guild/altar wouldn't be too much work,
and it won't have such a target on current orcs, as well it
would bring more orc on orc roleplay aside from the

Big orc: Gimmie Axe!
Little orc: No!
Big orc: BASH BASH BASH

Mutliple clans, orc vs orc raids for orcy items, etc., this could
go places, anyone? anyone?

Never happend. Too low playerbase. Come back to the real world. Only Wow. Maybe some kind of BIG PROJECT will save this world a little *wink*.

It's not a question of the playerbase being too small, it's a question of the orc playerbase being too small. As it is you don't see many bands of orcs running around like there should be. Plus I shudder to think of the horrible roleplay that would go on trying to think of ways that its okay to rank with orcs from the other village.

1) It's not really a "town" area. There's lots of areas that aren't choosable as a hometown by anyone, and this doesn't meet the minimum criteria, even if we added a pit/altar. The area would have to be extensively rewritten (shops, water supply, newbie-compatibility, etc.), so we'd want to see a pressing need before doing so.

2) I don't see that pressing need. I see the immediate impact would be dividing a small-population class into two halves, robbing them of half of their best groupmates and adding more enemies to a long list. It doesn't seem like a practical decision on our part.
