10082, outlanders seeing camo.

On one point, I can see why outlanders can see other Chameleon'ed outlanders. This can help alot during a raid. And other situations.

But in the past, I'd heard that it was alright for outlanders of different alignment to attack and even sometimes kill each other.

What I think would make more sense, is if this seeing of Chameleon was confined to similar alignments.

Why would an evil ranger want that elf thief (heh) to be able to see him in camoflage (not chameleon, but camoflage)

Why would that good ranger want that evil fire giant to see him in camoflage?

Just my opinion, but I think some sort of alignment based limit on the Acute vision given to all outlanders for other outlanders might better fit what I see as a nice intra-cabal tension. (of course, the way I see it might be different from how others see it)

Or, why not let rangers keep their camo as seperate from Chameleon, so they can choose when to, and when not to, reveal themselves to other outlanders who may very well be enemies.

We've been discussing basically the same issue amongst the staff in the last few days.
