I was wondering if you, Zulg, the guy, have ever thought about allowing the material(s) of hand-wear play a role in the type of damage dealt?
For instance, if you have iron gauntlets on, and punch an elf, does it hurt more? Technically a broad, gauntletd fist would be in contact with the skin a lot longer (by comparison) during a punch than a sword would be during a slashing or thrusting stroke.
So is there any chance for this, or should I go back to my hovvel?
