If you log on only very sparingly, you may forfeit some of Carrion Fields'
most limited and coveted gear. This is done to make sure that these objects
appear in the game with some regularity, thus allowing all players to have
a fair chance at acquiring them. The rarity of the item will matter - a
unique artifact will be lost more easily than a more common limited object.

All of the rules regarding login frequency are kept very 'loose' - we
understand that players vary considerably in their ability and desire to
play often, and we have set them this way to be inclusive of both casual
and serious players. If you do lose an item to this mechanism, no
reimbursements can or will be given, as it means you have not been
playing your character enough to justify keeping those items out of
circulation.

If you want to not worry about purge, avoid rare equipment and you'll have a better time, and potentially won't ever see it pop up as an issue. Everyone has times when they can't play as much, and that puts us all (equally) up there for the purging risk.
