With my warriors I'll practice a lot of the skills I'll never plan on using (various weapons not of my spec) up to an ACCEPTABLE level before advancing. The problem with invokers is that I don't have that choice. I'm forced to master some spells that I'll very very rarely use later on, and some I'll never use.
