It could use more mort chars so good if so.
Also, IMO one of the reasons we lack mortals is because so many were allowed to imm and either didn't like what they saw behind the curtain or did and didn't have much time to play morts.

They could be really beneficial in helping you learn how to easily explore the mud and get new weapons and gear. I feel like if you had easier access to things and someone to really hold your hand and guide you it would really help your desperate outlook when you lose things from your corpse.

It is common for imms to play the game because they like playing the game duh.
No-one is under any illusions as to the current state of the playerbase.
