3940, Is this purely cosmetic echoes?

You pull back an arrow and take careful aim for Baldwick's legs.
However, your aim isn't true as the arrow strikes him in the torso instead!
Your aimed shot MANGLES Baldwick!
Baldwick sails backwards onto the ground from the force of the arrow's impact.
Baldwick has some small but disgusting cuts.

<prompt>
Baldwick drives his axes into both sides of your body, stunning you.
Baldwick's brutal attack MASSACRES you!
Baldwick's brutal attack MANGLES you!
Baldwick has some small but disgusting cuts.

It does not seem to lag at all or make him miss an attack, curious as to it's worth.

3944, It's a bug

A flag was being improperly set always giving you the echo that they were knocked back. Now the echo should only fire when they are actually lagged.
3946, Brilliant thanks n/t

3941, I do believe it was because of the line above the dmg

If you aim torso, and hit torso, then there is at least some lag associated with it. You aimed leg, and hit torso so I doubt you get the benefits of a "full hit."
3942, Ok, so, clarification

Despite echoes only happening sometimes on some aimed shots, which even at 100% miss loads, the effect,(if any) only happens if you aimed for that part AND get the echo?

3943, My experience...

Is that your ability to lag as a hunter should be assumed to be zero. I think usually giant sized means no chance and smaller sizes you have a better shot, but that could be pure misinfo. Might have a strength component, but haven't seem many high str archer builds, so who knows.

My basic point is, assume aimed shot does no lag whatsoever and you won't be disappointed.
