Is there any way to dispel it? Not asking anyone to give away super secret prep locations, but more of a yes/no unless the location is common knowledge.

Healing sleep probably fixes it. Otherwise, not so much. I wouldn't be surprised if there's something obscure like some tattoo somewhere that can fix it for its wearer but for the most part, you need to wait it out.

Ouch for empowerment chars, eh.

But they don't dispel it.

That said, carry a few potions, and it shouldn't result in your death.

That's kind of the point of the spell. :P
