Is it considered bad RP to use group tell when you've been put to sleep or blackjacked? I'm curious as to why it's possible, and whether doing so is frowned upon.

From an IC perspective, assume that all Therans are innately telepathic to a limited extent. Also assume that your subconscious mind is able to use this form of communication, even though you might be asleep or knocked out. That's how tell, group tell and Cabal channels can be explained.

Mechanics-wise it is considered ok.

Role-wise, it is considered ok, unless you happen to be a supposedly bad-ass completely self-sufficient character.

It is part of the balance of those skills that you can call in help when you get slept/jacked.
