I have an idea for a role, but I'm not sure how a role is supposed to be writen. Can someone show me an example role or something so I can see how they will work?

Here is a thread where several people posted roles that won a role contest at one time or another.

As you read them, you'll see that there isn't a "correct" format. The idea is to communicate what the character is about, and as long as you reach that goal, it's a "good" role. There's other threads on this forum with more tips, and you can browse around for those, but I think you had the right idea in just asking for examples.
