All I told my friend was how to speak to the wise old gnome, move, and log in because she was having trouble logging on and couldn't figure out how to talk. I personally find it frustrating when I don't know the right things to do in a game to get what I want done and so told her how to speak and move so she wouldn't get frustrated and leave.

I guess I won't adventure with her then. But I don't see myself giving her items. I'm highly commpetative and would probably end up killing her character (which is unlikely) before I help her. Well, at least in games I'm competative.
