A Philipino girl I used to mess around with. Maybe it was the whip, I don't know.

I feel dirty now that I see you're a guy named Lynn.

Sorry about Zax. That was a good character you had.

I'm female, fyi
92382, huh. didn't think we had any real gals.

I assumed Raybaer is someone Daevryn rolled up so he wouldn't be lonely.

Don't forget about Iunna.
92395, Iunna's not really a girl, she just hacked her own pfile. :p nt

I'd guess I've heard of like 4-6 non-imm-women, so there are probably a bunch more that just don't bother saying "hey what's up guys I've got girl parts" for no reason. Generally speaking online gaming communities are not the most welcoming (except when they're a little too welcoming) so it wouldn't surprise me if there is a significantly higher proportion than you'd expect from observation.

I power game with my gender choice somewhat often. Imho female_only clothes are overabundant. No reason I shouldn't be able to wear that frilly shirt or a fancy dress on my male characters. Also there's female_only consumables that are pretty nice.

92417, Those consumables aren't technically female_only. (n/t)

.
92419, Well, not technically
Posted by Valkenar on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
But yeah I find it easier to RP being a female than being a male who uses them.

Of my noteworthy characters I think its about a 50/50 split between male and female.

Thanks to the imm that help to push forward the publishing of this character on battlefield.

Thank you Zulghinlour and team for restoring the game after that major crash.

Thank you Marcatis for your patience and everything.

Thank you to alot of players out there that made the character fun and interesting.

Tribunals: Love every single one of you, well most of you. Thanks.

Outlanders: Sorry for kicking alot of butts, but thank you to some of you for being sporting.

Well, just a simple short and sweet, no specific mortal names mentioned. If anyone post, I'll reply if need.

Why would this character *not* be published on the battlefield?
92334, RE: A short and simple goodbye
Posted by Lynn on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
Sorry, meant to be " push forward ". If the imm haven't helped, I would have to wait for like 3 days.

I thought you played the part of a smug, knowledgeable, calm yet occasionally vicious law official well. I can't say too much more without giving away my current char, but I'm glad for all the effort you put in.

Who else have you played in Tribunal? I felt like we had worked together before in a few previous lives...

Other tribbie characters: Siloreelo, Laraiyin, Loryin

Posted by Not An Imm on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
Ah, Siloreelo and Laraiyin, that explains it. Yeah, we've had a lot of history then. Well, great provost. Good luck with whatever else you have going on now.
92372, RE: Loved this char...
Posted by Lynn on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
Now you made me curious. Is it okay to reveal your past tribbies?
92338, Why delete?

700 hours... I would think you'd go for the age death.
92339, RE: Why delete?

Real life factors, add in going to have low log in time and lost of unholy weapon = deletion.
92340, Excellent Character
Posted by Homard on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
I thought you were an outstanding Tribunal and made an excellent
foe/friend. You had the respect of Homard and, I would hope, the
whole playerbase.

You were also the least "evil" AP I've ever run into *wink.* Homard
considered you to be the embodiment of Law in Thera, but neither
he nor I would think of you as "evil." To be fair, though, light
and dark do not weigh heavily on the mind of the Rager Pincersvirf.

Well done.
92342, RE: Excellent Character
Posted by Lynn on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
Initially role was to play evil, but towards the end, I ended up playing a neutral in the body of a drow in ap guild.
92341, RE: A short and simple goodbye
Posted by Daevryn on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
I didn't think Lamayinn was generally very evil, and there were one or two times I seriously thought about pushing her over to neutral.

That being said, I thought she was a great Tribunal and Provost.
92343, RE: A short and simple goodbye (edited)
Posted by Lynn on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
I expected that to happen, playing evil is not really my trait, overall the character was too motherly and nice. Therefore was role tweaked from evil side to neutral side.

But I guess that is call evolution. Character, personality, changing over time, due to circumstances, situations and needs. Just like real life. Can't expect a character to be always the same, not affected by the surroundings forever.

I may be wrong but so far, most of the characters in the game(that I notice), they stick to one role design, hardly or barely any changes throughout the character lifespan. But I guess only the imms know best.
92344, RE: A short and simple goodbye
Posted by VitriolicStream on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
My thoughts exactly...having a current tribbie, I was always expecting you to come over and be named "Den Mother" or something similar...that being said, was always fun when you were around, and you did a great job as provost. Not evil, but hey, we can't all be that :)

You're probably correct about that.

Ultimately, I was really reluctant to change the alignment (which, while not exactly a punishment is certainly punishing in a sense to deal with) because of the obivous effort you put into your RP.

Lamayinn will be a tough act to follow at Provost.
92351, RE: A short and simple goodbye (edited)
Posted by Lynn on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
I was waiting to be turned neutral to be honest, since the role was meant to be that way for the later part. But yeah you're right, it would ended up as a punishment, since turning neutral = crippling the character's ability.

Thank you.
92345, Fantastic.
Posted by Marin on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
One of my favorite characters to play with in the recent past. What other people said about your evilness, including yourself, I agree with. I wish you or I had been neutral so we could have ran around together. You really were the embodiment of the law - I even wrote about it in my role at like level 40, ha!

You were very knowledgeable on so many things, very impressed with how well you knew high-end areas. It was good for me to see more PVE since I usually only focus on PVP. You did both extremely well.

Plus, you get around fast! I never could keep up with how well you walked around or reacted to things in game.

I loved the character. Sorry I wasn't around much last week, I had to take a break, but I've been getting on again when free. You'll be missed.
92350, RE: Fantastic.
Posted by Lynn on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
Sorry and thank you for the love. Its okay actually, our log in don't really mesh in well. I enjoyed moving around with Marin, knowing I can depend on her in terms of fighting criminals.
92352, Unfortunately so.
Posted by Marin on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
I really can only play central time evenings. I'd log on every now and then during the day when I was working from home or on a day off just to catch up with people. It looked like the times I would see you involved me logging on early in the night or you staying on later into the evening. Great times when it happened!

Seriously though, you being gone is a huge detraction to me as a player - I liked and respected you that much.
92371, RE: Unfortunately so.
Posted by Lynn on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
Aww...don't take it so seriously, CF is a game. Most important thing is that you enjoy playing it. Thank you for the likes and respect.

Well, I'm from Singapore, so the time don't usually mesh well with US time.
92354, Great character
Posted by Knac on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
Had great battles against you - although you were sometimes a nuisance when I tried raiding nexus, ultimately it was awesome.

I didn't get a chance to rp with you alot, but it seems you got your stuff down.

Was hoping you'd stick around, but alas, it was not meant to be.

Cya next time!

No offense, Knac rubbed me the wrong way, in quite alot of ways.

But if imms are okay with it, then you're probably doing fine.
You're one tough pup, not much characters in the game are capable of taking you on one on one.
92373, RE: Great character
Posted by Knac on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
No offense taken.

It's not like I didn't have a beef with some of Lamayinn's conducts - for example, that time when I died and was re-equipping, you came with Eow-elf-shifter and tried to kill me while I was killing Jumnarl. In the end, I escaped from you and died to the shifter. Subsequently, our next meeting, I killed you and jacked your rings for Tahren - and you somewhat bitched about that. Inwardly, I thought to myself, "what a douche." But then again, it's a game.

Oh, and our recent battle - there was a part with the conjie that I thought was kinda whack from a RP point, but once again, it's a game.

I did think of just letting myself get killed by you to see how many charges I'm worth. Ah well. And you almost had me a few times - no one is unkillable.

Overall, you were a strong presence and a great character!

I don't know about it, I always thought berserkers are meant to be ganked, especially for a very tough character like Knac

So far, base on my memory (which I could be wrong).

Lama was killed by Knac like a few times, mostly to 2 versus 1.

3 times I fought you which then you went somewhere and I couldn't find you, then I found Melememelem. When I the character then you appeared and ended up standing behind Melememelem then bash Lama down, not sure any of the three times you attacked Melememelem in the end.

Once in Hamsah Mu'tazz, Lama was fighting you, then a druid appeared to aid you, not sure if you attacked the druid in the end.

Once you took down Lama together with another berserker Daegit, repeatedly 4 - 5 times within 2 - 3 hours?

Then there was Galadon which Lama lost the weapon.

So yeah, rubbed me the wrong way are the above stuffs.

Anyway, if imms didn't say anything, then Knac is probably okay.

Peace out.
92379, Hmmm..
Posted by Knac on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
I don't recally kill you that many times really. Maybe my memory is funky.

For the Mel time(s), I attacked him immediately after.

Don't recall the druid time.

For the last time, after fighting you, the shifter and everyone else in Galadon for like a hour real time, with a little involvement from one villager, I decided enough is enough. I knew that the conjie would recall you if you were together if you were about to fall. It was just a matter of divide and conquer - and to be frank, it worked beautifully.

Anyways, not to derail your death thread or anything - I guess we'll see how many times I actually ganked/killed you when your pbf appears.

Gluck with your next!
92356, Awesome character!

I'm certain you know who I'm playing. We had some pretty cool interactions througout our chars life. I was trying to make it obvious gradually what my char thought about you. And I tried real good to do a REAL nasty thing to you to have you killed. And I ALMOST succeeded. It ended up with me dead instead though and after that it was no going back to our awesome teamwork. But then again, I knew that as soon as we interacted that one day I was going to betray you and we'd be enemies for the rest of our chars lives.

I interacted with you a lot when you were a low level with another char of mine. Not sure how many that noticed that you once were a REALLY fat drow. ;) I think I outed myself to you ICly once about that with my current chars as my current char shouldn't know it and yet called you a fatsy. hehe

How many charges did you have at the end? I went from kicking you around to 1 hour later getting my ass handed to me. Did you store your charges hidden or something to keep them through deaths? Because one day your melee hit me for mauls without protectins and the next I got hit for DEVAS. heh

I hope to see you in the fields soon again, I usually love your chars!

I knew something was wrong when you pulled me there and aimed for that specific room, the excuse and stuffs, then I saw you did something that you had no reason to do so, which immediately I know whats going on and decided to act before you did. :D

Thanks

I think I lost 119 to 120.

Yeah, for a moment, I wonder how did this character know that the past description was a really fat drow...bleh :D

Just to give you some insight. Watching the balance closely you pulled big weight. Last time I saw you, it was four criminals, at least five if not six or more chaotics and then you. All is balanced. Sent me a tell about chaos, I knew what was comming. You leave. Then not but a very short time after scales tip to chaos. This was not unusual so it was pretty evident you had alot of pull on order, and also to darkness to a large extent. Also perfect char build to kick my ass so I was pretty much too scared to do anything in town which is where you almost always were :P
cheers

Posted by Lynn on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
I've always been curious about your character. Its just a pity that we never really had any chance to RP for me to figure out your character and yeah, AP drow is a build that is meant to go against mages except for conjurers and no, I didn't expect the character to have so much effect on balance. :D
