Can you please share your thoughts on your thief build? What were you going for? What did you like/dislike? Successes/frustrations? Thank you.

Played a complete trapper build with some general skills. I read about how bad trappers were, but chalked it up to the playerbase's general complaining. But no, trappers in their current incarnation are almost unplayable.

For example, I had twelve knockout traps fail in a row on various pcs (ask Pleebert). I used cheap ingredients. I used expensive ingredients. I used ingredients you have to kill a lvl 40ish mob to get. It didn't matter.

Another example, a certain nasty-looking damage ingredient that you have to work your way through a maze-ish type area and then either kill a relatively high-level mob or pick a container to get. I had great hopes . . . until it hit an EVISCERATE.

Anyway, perhaps someone can make a trapper thief look scary, but they are going to be someone with more patience and tolerance for extreme failure than me.

am unhappy by this deletion. Panda sad. Trying to drum up a group with an anti paladin and a thief is usually a receipt for frustration. Wish you stuck but understand why you didn't.
