I was rolling a dark elf warrior, and thought I'd play my first ever CF female. I picked the name Cimtiana, and then saw the mino slot. I got all freaked out about having a crash right then and not getting it, so I grabbed it up and selected warrior off the top. If I had stopped to think more than 2 seconds I would have remembered that I played mino warrior before, and I have been wanting mino shaman for the last several years. OH WELL.

So there I am with a level one mino warrior with a freaking girly name... and it hit me that the most hysterical thing I could possibly do was play the character as a male who thought he was female. It would be a very drag queeny transvestite sort of thing - and that would be hysterical. And for the first however many hours that's exactly what I did - and OMG was that a riot. I laughed harder at my early interactions with this character than I have at anything in the history of my playing CF.

So one day Enilith pops up and offers me an elixir of beauty. I wish I had never taken it, because it turned my sex to female. 95% of the MUD doesn't seem to realize that minotaur can't be female, and it took all the special right out of the character. The few people who did understand what happened interacted well with me, but for the most part people just took the female minotaur for granted.

I power ranked during double xp, and didn't practice a lot of stuff and consequently sucked awfully in PK. Had I stuck it out to hero it probably wouldn't have been so bad - but after a couple weeks of very unfun, lonely log ins I just said screw it.

At this point I'm not sure if I'm done with CF for another couple years or if I'll keep playing the lowbie I've rolled since deleting. It's all very "meh" to me right now.

Did you change your mind on why they gang (because most of the time it's only way to survive! :P ) or still think that imperials gang because they are lame asses? :P

...you need to just learn to ignore the forums. Everyone's always going to bitch about Russian permas in Empire because of the past. We just have to deal with it. :D

Although we didn't share a lot of logins, we had a decent tension established between us as fellow blades. Ktabu wouldn't have enough about minotaurs and their heritage to be surprised by your gender, so I couldn't in good faith respond to it.

Here's to your next, and here's to hoping you don't take an extended break. CF can use any sort of player who is willing to mix it up on a regular basis with their chars.

Yea, I really liked our interactions. They were some of the best I had from other Imperials, however brief.

I told him that it mattered little what he thought of you. I was his superior and would have order within my ranks. I also told him that I would deal with you personally if you got out of hand, assuming he made his peace first.

This role made me spew soda all over my monitor. I liked this char a lot, and so I restrung grapes to make you actually female. Between the role and your talking about your min jay-jay. I never quit laughing while I watched the char. Pretty bummed you didn't stick it out. Sorry the grapes blew the rp out of the water. Great char.

Which was me licking my canteen and telling Tanpholin how much he knew he wanted to drink out of it. I was laughing out loud, and I suspect he was too. Then you popped up, and I knew that it was destined to be a fond CF memory. Sadly I think Empire just isn't the best place for a funny role. :(

I was mudding from work, and was laughing out loud, over and over. I've never had so much fun mudding, seriously. When the shadowy voice came, I was connected via straight telnet and didn't have logging, I tried to copy my whole buffer and accidentally pasted it right back in. kaboom. lucky to get reconnected in time to see you eat it.

Below is what I grabbed, people who didn't get a chance to interact with you really missed out. My favorites were yeah, you telling me in the mino stilt "you liketh da tasthe don't you? Ooh, that's goood", and our third asking you to lead and you responding "I'm too distracted by my beauty" and that was that.

The figure before you cuts an impressive silhouette. Easily ten feet tall,
broad shouldered, unnaturally thick legs and hindquarters, capped off by a
massive pair of angry looking horns. Weapons hang off this figures body in
various convenient places. The figure is clad in heavy armor, clearly marking
it a member of the warriors guild. And that, is the silhouette...

The details of the creature before you are paradoxical by any ones standards.
The bovine face of this fearsome creature is painted with makeup. The thick
bovine lips are covered in a red lipstick. They eyes are an odd mix of blue
paint and the brown skin beneath coming through. Some kind of oil has been
put onto the eyelashes of this minotaur to draw out the length. What clothing
it wears that can be worn in a feminine manner is so worn. This minotaur even
seems to be straining its vocal chords to make a deep, male voice sound light
and feminine.

Looking at this makes me wish I hadn't deleted. Looking a hero range of 5 forties on, and no imperials at 8am eastern time makes me glad I did. :)

I sooooo wish I'd gone shaman. I'd still be around.
