I was just commenting the other day, "Whatever happened to Celenai? How is she STILL not deleted?".

Celenai was easily one of my favorite characters. Picking on you, acting like an old man who was ashamed for you, and generally just clowning around was ALWAYS awesome.

Also! I guess I forgot how to get inducted to Herald, because all my answers sucked. In the time it would've taken me to ask everyone I would've lost interest and deleted. But that was not what happened! You fed me a bunch of answers and I just repeated them back, pretty much word for word. So thanks for that.

P.S. You were so totally Adellia, too, weren't you.
79148, Who wants bear kisses?

Ryasyn and Celenai were definitely a couple of goofs. Goodness could we bicker, you were like a clever farmer and I was a ditzy scholar, I thought it was a great dynamic. I do remember your induction, I knew once you were aboard it would be a great staff, and it was tons of fun.

I was Adellia! That character though, oh I had such high hopes for her, but I couldn't get started with Celenai still around for some reason. Adellia's rp was horrid, but really she was supposed to be mopey, still.. ack, I really messed that one up. She kicked some butt every now and then at least.
79161, Oh!

I was Orndaer too :P

Oo' dere! 'E was jus' a lazy ol' swamprat. T'anks fo' da gumbo, mon melion.
79163, That one I really did not see coming.

Thanks for all the weird meet and giving me the chance to pretend I was talking to a really, really dirty Gambit.

...or James Carville.
79115, Hey

Saw you through a few character's eyes. Enjoyed our interactions. Was hoping we could get some stuff started in the Lyceum as Wendarl (my first RP centered character), but I had to stop playing for a while and lost interest. I had planned to use you as a sort of scholarly role model for Wendarl as well once I got to 50 and developed my role a bit further.
79116, Nerdery abound
Posted by Celenai on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
I was sad when Wendarl stopped showing up. Great character, very ethusiastic. I was really impressed with your studies, that halfling one.. I remember leaning back as I was reading it and thinking, jeez, this is actually interesting. Well, I hope to meet up with some other characters.
79104, Alakazam!

Ah, no way. I was just about to start playing again tonight. Oh well, them's
the breaks. I really liked this character, but I think I've been pretty
stagnant with the rp in the last part of her life.. two parts..
Life started getting kind of hectic and I couldn't get into her head anymore,
so I figured I'd just sort things out before I started playing again.

I'm not sure where this character was ever going, I sort of thought of her
as a librarian but she quickly got a little to lively to keep with that.
I just tried to keep her studious, a bit of a showoff, and adventurous but
a little cowardly. Or a lotta cowardly sometimes. Didn't really like playing
a coward, but whenever she'd be faced with a bad situation I couldn't help
but think that she'd run for it. Whenever she was alone anyway. I also
tried to stay away from pk with her, I think the only fights I actively
persued were right outside the inn when the ragers were beating down the
doors, even then I ran away quite a few times.

Anyway, on to the goodbyes. I'll forget a lot of people, sorry, it's been
a long run on this character and I haven't played her in a while. Comment
and I'll remember.

Beroxxus - I found your church by accident, then your imp mentioned it
Celenai was like, Oh, I know that church! and went skipping down there only to get
the ba-jeebus scared out of her. That was some creepy interaction, thank you.
You scared Celenai her entire life after all that. Even much later in her
life, she wouldn't say your name.

Iunna - You are too cool. You don't put up with guff, but it's impossible to
really get under your skin. I kept expecting you to lay into me about being
a lazy High Herald. Thank you for all the magic tricks.

Neltouda - I had so much fun running around, looking for your ship when Olin
first mentioned it. I loved chasing after you, only to have you raise a mug
our way and fly off again. Then when you finally got off your ship, I just
wanted you to get back on it. No, just kidding! The Cap'n is an incredibly
fun character, I guess she'd have to be.

Mystery Immortal - Whoever tried to give me the prismatic spray spell, thank
you. I was shooting for that spell Celenai's entire life, too bad it didn't
work. I kept giving those boring lectures on the prismatic spray, but..
well, it was a shame it didn't work.

Etielise - I remember when I first wanted to be a Herald and saw you as
High Herald I thought, perfect! The fact you were an Elven mage made Celenai
happy, but once I met you I knew it was going to be a lot of fun, and it was!
Sorry about getting you mangled by the Ill Omen.

Ryasyn - When Ryasyn died, I used it as an excuse to give in to Celenai's
main vice, gambling. And when he was alive, I used his friendship as an
excuse to give into vices :P I had tons of fun goofin around with you. Very
funny and clever character.

Iltanthal - I really wish you stayed around. I always had fun with you,
and the fact that Celenai started to be known for dating knights in the
Brigade always made me laugh. Later on, I was looking for Twist, but it's
just as well Celenai never found him, my rp started slipping.

Borom - It's really too bad we didn't have more time together, I think Borom
brought out the brat in Celenai pretty well. Of course that's assuming it
needed to be brought out, maybe she was just a brat all the time. I really
liked Borom, I thought he was a great character.

Alietrius - Celenai was so bummed about losing Ryasyn, but when you showed up
I knew things would get good again. I always knew you were an uber thief, but
when you made immortal so fast, it sent my head spinning. I was actually kind
of bummed over that, I wanted to hang out as mere mortals much longer.

Sharricci - You crazy.

Waris - I loved being called Book Elf. It brought attention, however little,
to the fact Celenai was a librarian. Thanks for sparing me as many times as
you did. I appreciated it, and since you always sent Scions my way to get
that book, I figured there was a reason for Waris not to split my skull.

Okay, this is taking too long. If anyone else wants a comment, post away.
And if anyone wants to laugh at a horrible pk ratio, pick up the pbf!
79125, You did find Twist...
Posted by Twist on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
I'm the one who tried to give you prismatic spray. Sorry it never ended up working how I wanted it to. It is apparently more difficult than I figured it was. :(

It was good times. I think. It was so damn long ago that I can't remember. :P
79153, You have gained insight into prismatic spray.... psyche!
Posted by Celenai on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
Oh? Can't remember eh? Well, I'll remind you then. It was the best of times ever, in the history of CF. I think a memorial should be built in Celenai's honor in every major town square in the whole game. :P

I think you were gone before I started playing a few years ago, and this was my first character since then. But even though I haven't met Twist yet, I was surprised that you were Iltanthal, you did a great job with him. Dashing and brave, like a Maran should be.

Someone just linked me to this, sad. I remember being in the Inn with a character after Tubnic, and you were saying something about the positive plane and I just wanted to scream out #### I woulda said as Tubby :( lol. Was cool talking with you, gl with the next (if there is one)
79099, Tubby
Posted by Celenai on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
Tubnic - I thought it was hilarious that we were these two nerdy mage Heralds
and no one wanted to listen to us babble about magic, but when we would
talk about it amongst ourselves.. we'd just start arguing! Tubnic was really
well played, great job.
79078, This is a sad thing to see. I thought you would atleast age die.
Posted by Zephon on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
I'm guessing your were close to age death.
Anyway, I played Cormindon, which was quite a while ago.
I've had multiple characters since then but I never got to interact with you again.
I remember having lots of fun with you running around.
I hope things are going well.

See you in the fields.
79100, I know!
Posted by Celenai on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
I really wanted to age death, oh well ho hum. Cormindon was a
great character. Sorry about all the drama, but I thought it was time for some,
Celenai being such a spoiled brat and all.

Knew it was coming. I thougth you will delete, but this sucks. Considered you as my best friend. Wanted to adventure few places with you, but your RP (or frail elf getting molested by Mino) wouldn't allow us.

When I first met you, you were gambling. Hopefully you have some data (Statistical Analysis/Regression Equation) on how to win BIG.

79101, Arrrg! Innhooker!
Posted by Celenai on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
I'm so sorry, I was just about to come back, but then I had to leave
again, then I was just about to come back, and she auto-deleted. Arg. You
were so hard to read, but I always could count on Edika, no matter how silly
a task I asked of you.

I did pick the lucky edge, but other than that, I have no idea why Celenai
was such a good gambler. I just sort of declared it, and it was true!
79056, Boo!

Hey,

I hope this isn't at all b/c of our interactions. After that, I rarely...rarely ever saw you :(

-S
79103, Hoo!
Posted by Celenai on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
No, this was about me moving and dealing with a new financial
situation. I took a major pay cut switching jobs and things got a little
hairy.

Sarien was a great character, too bad we didn't have a chance to interact
more. It was a shame that Celenai couldn't twist you around her finger
though, well, at least couldn't keep you twisted around her finger.
