I probably wont mention everyone ive interacted with because that would be imposible for me to remeber.
A few things, I started off Spyko on a bad note but hope i dispelled the 'coward' label many I think tried to attribute to him. Spyko was a defender not a berserker and I tried to think less agressively than im used too. This was mixed with my thinking more strategically in terms of the overall war rather than winning battles. Instead of trying to kill always and become glorious, he was more interested in ways to beat the enemy down in spirit. Whether by attacking their ego, or convincing them to quit the war (I still think my words helped you Dar!) Or just plain knoking them out and leting a better warrior tackle the actual kill, it wasnt about Spyko, it was about whats best for the Village.
That said heres the traditional list of friends and enemies (that I can remeber)
Village:
Rhuean: As I mentioned in your goodbye thread, you were largely the reason I became a defender, You seriously showed the strength that is inherent in that pick and im sure the Village wont be 95% berserkers after you. Just for that I hope they put your name on the pillar soon.
Sofia: Ill admit at first when I didnt really know your character I didnt like her. Caling everyone 'boytoy' just got on my nerves until I got too fight at your side and realized that it was your tough-girl act, but under it all your a sweetheart. (HA try and bonk me now im a ghost) Thanks for trying to save me in Thar-Acaia and dont beat on yourself for my deaths, they were all my responsibilty. You have definatley earned my respect for your skill, courage, and attitude. Fight on soldier! And ONCE AGAIN - You'd make a GREAT drillmaster -wink wink nudge nudge-
Intronan - As a long-time Villager ive never had so much interaction with Imms, and my gut tells me you were behind alot of it, thanks for the interaction and the vitality quest, sorry i burnt through the lives so fast, I was really trying to win a few more battles before I went out. I absolutely LOVE the area you made for the rites, great idea.
Thror - I dont know how often I may have interacted with you, but I know through past experience that you've been doing a great job with the Village, the Village is as strong now as Ive ever seen it. I think they should get some big quest like the scions got awhile back, they deserve it.
Shamus - Im glad I was able to earn a place in the Village, I was *this* close to giving up for awhile, only stubberness kept me from deleting. You were busy, but you did a great job forging a strong fighting force while you where Commander.
Huraz - Stand strong, despite what others may have said, you deserve your Command as much as any Villager. Rhuean was a splendid Drillmaster, you im sure will be a splendid Commander.
Rorimac - My fellow axe spec, we had good times, stand strong buddy.
Enemies:
Darantin: My oldest most respected foe, I definately have to mention you Stone Spider. Had alot of great battles, especially that siege at the Rift. Why did you leave the rift, I still think my argument finally convinced you, or at least i like to think so.
Stargher: Once, just once id have loved to catch you without a transmuter in tow to cast 'hold person' on me.
Dullameh: Only mention you because I cant stand the thought of someone I cant beat one on one.
Dwoggurd: Damned good fighter, sure didnt enjoy the thought of facing you. Bet me attacking you solo was a suprise. Just wish i had something in my arsenal to deal out more damage than your flurries.
That whining healer nexan lady: Do you do that to everyone?!?
Honorable mentions:
Ciaker - violent little assassin, will miss you buddy Wasarbre - Have fun with them talons LAcharst - Give me credit damit! (you know what im talking about) Fauquai -Didnt quite go down the way you painted it, but apologies anyways.
There were others but none I can really remember at the moment, plus im running out of time to write this.
Comments on axe/hand specs:
Axe is very good, but disembowel truly truly truly sucks for the most part. Imms please change it, give it bleeding damage when it hits, with the possibilty of instant death when writhing/convulsing.
Make hand to hand skills useable with one hand, I almost never used anything but stun and evasion on occasion. But if id been able to use a shield with ironhands id have used it more often.
Together it was actually a pretty good choice, nothing like knocking someone out and waking them with pincer. It gets the job done, And stun. well stun is just damned near as close to a skill that always works as ive ever used.

Grrr... dammit. You helped Ciakaer so many times, it makes my head spin. Seein as I ain't the greatest at gaining ranks... you got me back up on my feet up to the strength I needed to deal with damn distention range again and again. How many times did you get me that damn silver sword? And spiked bracers and such? Thanks mate.
Then that week came... where it was me aginst bloody 4-5 Scions. Not complaning, I took them down, but my con was... rather low afterwords. Still around, just taking a breather. Seems like I shouldn't be the one bitching about my con, as you go aginst 4-5 Scions solo near every day...
Damn good Villager you were, damn good. I would hope you rolled another, but I know people HAVE to take breaks after a few, or even one it seems, as the style of play is entierly different. Good luck with yer next, I know i'll read here that some beast age died, and his past char was Spyko.
-Peace out

I was gonna say lots of lovely things about how I liked spyko and how I was always checking myself to make sure I called you Gawaine. I liked you early on and showed this by hooking you up with eq a few times as I rarely do that to anyone I dont like, even in battle. I wish I had managed to be around a bit more when the last rager crop leapt up to hero but I started and got to 43 than fell by the wayside for a bit. Thanks for helping when you could with that, to get me a little closer to heroing. I dreaded fighting against your axes in the rites and only jacked you twice out of about 8 attempts, wish I knew about your legacy before I wasted my time. The twice I jacked you, you were woken by Rhuean before I could do the nasty but nevermind eh. Hope you return to the village and have learnt a little about surviving more in it.

That sucks, not even a mention. =P guess I didnt impact your chars life that much, I respected you because you would come out and fight as the others had to be torn from the destructors tit. Well played and I wish you luck with your next char.

Great job, Spyko. Ya fought like hell, sometimes good, sometimes bad, but you never seemed to let the bad get you down... you just grabbed a couple axes and started swinging again. Great dedication... hope you enjoyed your time in the village.

7795, well firstly..

You have replied under Intronan and so I am going to have to guess that you wanted to post under Spyko and that is who you have your beef with. If he did then it is ooc and he should not have used that information from the forum to hassle your application but equally if your a battle applicant and you did do that ##### then I for one am glad you did not get in and hope that you never do if you pull ##### like that.

Just to set the record straight, The very first question I asked you was what you would do if you were grouped with a paladin and a magi where nearby.
I didnt say (in character) that I already knew the history behind your char, I DID however let you know indirectly that I knew it.
Some would say thats wrong. They may be right. But I tried VERY hard to avoid you, I ducked and evaded speaking with you for 3 days but you kept coming back. So I broke down, tried my best to let you know why I wasnt giving you a reccomendation while remaining in character by setting up a question/situation thats perfectly normal in an interview to ask for me (ask anyone who has interviewed with me how long and thorough they can be) while letting you know that im not exactly prone to make you getting into the Village with my reccomendation easy. MOST people would have said I wont speak to you and NOT given you a reason why. But they would be perfectly fine Roleplayers now wouldnt they.
Thanks for taking this up on my eulogy, so I can reply to you honestly. I hope you DONT get in, its obvious from this and the way you spoke in game that you dont take the responsibilities of being a Villager that seriously.
Chances are that if you DO get in you'll either delete or get kicked out within a week or two anyways.
And never forget that I at least tried to be honest even if it did tread the line of OOC most would just not let you in and you'd sit there for a week or two until you figured out why, or got fed up and deleted. Guess the price for trying to be nice is as usual a hot poker up the ass.
Peace Ghavamak!

>I didnt say (in character) that I already knew the history >behind your char, I DID however let you know indirectly that >I knew it.
I am not the applicant in question but if you let them know directly indirectly or anything IC that you know something about them on the Log board thats going ooc and breaking character. NO treading the line, thats OOC, and I would like to see the app pray just so it can be snooped and noted that you did it.

IMHO it would be better then nixing his Recco because of a log you saw. Before the interview even started you knew you werent going to give it to him. What if he had been impressive in the interview?

I hope you are never "nice" to me.

7794, And another thing!
Posted by Spyko on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
I never once said I wasnt going to reccomend him. I said it wasnt going to be EASY. I myself had to go through alot of stuff to get in because of a mistake that was not witnessed by Shamus yet SOMEHOW he knew EXACTLY when it went down (ask fauqui).
Fact is once its inside your head theres just no ignoring information and being colored by it. Maybe there are some stellar rpers who can completely seperate what they know from how they act, but im not one of those people. Hasnt stopped me from having my fair share of memorable characters so Ill just keep on trucking in my own fashion.
