On vacation for a long while and ive got some other things to do till i go. My link has been really bad for the past few weeks and i could not play as much as I had wished...or rather kill as much as I had wished. I did not want to put the char on hold and be called a cheater or a hoarder, or someone who just takes a break and only logs on to keep his gear then goes out and pks some more. I didnt want none of that.

I shoulda been turned evil when I hit pk range. :P

A lot of people said my last char, Ajoul, was a pansie and didnt fight because he was afraid to lose his gear. Not true, was not in his role to kill. Killing was the exception not the norm. Adgento was rolled for one purpose only, to be a cold, methodical, calculating killer. Was not even close to what Ajoul was from a philosphical/intellectual point of view. Didnt bother to argue with people or negotiate and make them see his side, he would kill. For all those gangbangs when i was in my low and mid 20's, sorry but you gotta. Its hard to kill a cloud giant axe spec when you dont have dual backstab...all hes gotta do is bash. After 30 I killed alone about 90% of the time. Almost never killed a person more than once, never full looted. Made it a point to kill duergars and assassins so they wouldnt come after me again. SOme of those I killed more than once, especially when they said they would hunt me down like a dog, then i would kill them a lot more than once. Always fought prepared unless i had a better than 85% chance of winning. Shield/stone skin/haste and some other things.
I thought about making kingpin but didnt want a repeat of Ajoul. The reason i got stuck at rank 41 was because of time and link. I saw no reason to keep this char other than getting more decked than I already was. Ended up getting most of the gear that Ajoul had and it was beginning to look awfully familiar...didnt like that.

Farewells:

Adgento's only friends were thieves. Shrryia, Tighairdt, Arkonini, Devdas, Darverck...you did good, thanks for the companioship, was great.

Darverk - nice guy. When i mean trip, i mean "spam trip firegiant" :P
Tighairdt - very good, very competent but lacked patience and wisdom, trying to trip a warrior to death alone. Was great running around with you.
Devdas - you werent playing evil man, if youre evil then act evil. You only killed when i was with you. *tap self*

Arkonini - ruthless and cunning but misscalculated and trying to bite more than he could chew. You were also good, i noticed you got kinda sloppy at the end there before you deleted. Remember, make people fear you but not hate you...hatred leads to desperate things, like posting a log on dio of you kiling the same guy 3 times in 1 hour for no reason. *HAH* Had a lot of fun running around wtih you in the mid 20's.

Shrryia - i really liked your char. You didnt kill at all and tried to be as fair and straightforward as possible and not just to thieves. Adgento called you his 'elfie.' Liked you a lot, ranked with you from 32 to 41, that was fun...minus the mob deaths you got.

Deigreck, you impressed me when we first talked. I screwed you out of that item a long time ago, I tricked you into giving it to me. It is because you impressed me that I returned it upon my deletion. Mubai, same with those spike toed boots...

Eleke - every time we were on at the same time you would ask me to trade some piece of armor i had...that kind annoyed me..heh, enjoy it :P

To all those i gave my gear to, enjoy.

That invoker Nexite, Filosporhsomething, with the long name. Sorry i did not pay you back for the mace of balance you gave me when i was like rank 23 or so, but thats life. I had something nifty for you but traded it somewhere after i didnt see you around for a long time. Lintronea thanks for trusting me when i was young.

To all the people i pissed off and killed, sorry get over it, its a game.

For the pk ratio, thank you whowever you were and let me know what it was. I was pretty sure it would not post thats why I asked. I died about 14-16 times in between ranks 11 and 17. I know 7-8 deaths were due to dead links while i was visible somewhere. Why is it that every time i go dead link someone attacks me and I die?

...anyone who gets jacked is dead, or isnt flying. Would be a nice combo but then people would be saying just the same stuff as they did in the lowbie ranks. 'How dare you kill my super-decked storm giant mace/axe/polearm spec with a gangbang! Come fight me one on one you wuss *insert class here*!" or "Without that backstab I would kick your ass" As someone told me the other day..."People like you gang because they are and never will be better than me!!! I rule and you know it and ill kick your ass if I could see you!" hehe, makes me laugh.

If I made a list of 100 possible ways to kill a giant warrior with a thief. NONE OF THEM WOULD INCLUDE A GANGBANG. You may have intended this char to be a great killer but all you did was throw a cheap shot into your gangbangs. To say that XX person can only be killed by a gangbang is to say you cannot play the class you are fighting them with. You would be amazed at what some skilled thieves manage against very tough axe/polearm warriors.

Now to catch you on a couple lies:

Ive killed plenty of axe specs, i would say roughly about 30 or so. Past rank 31 or so i killed about 85% of them alone. YOu think that after some time a few duergars didnt try to kill me? Wielding axes and maces and what not? Plenty tried. They always came after me when i was alone. Once a duergar axe spec around rank 25 and a voker came after me. I got put up shield and stone skin and frenzied. Had around a 50 damroll when they attacked. I dual stabbed the voker and he died in the next round. Then duergar missed his bash, i fled came back and jacked him. After that it was easy. I knew when to kill, how to kill and who to kill...its simple. Adgento cared about nothing else.
I was in the business of survival, not in the business of honor.

Also at rank 31 i lost bind, when the thief changes went in. How am i going to kill warrior/assassin after backstab if he can flee right away. A knifing will not be enough, he would just pincher/cranial/bash and thats it.

Another issue.. You, Zheesus and rooqweaz seem to missunderstand is the issue of honor. Thieves have no honor, i mean whats the point? I played a thief like a thief not like an Ehren. I dont care how I kill you as a thief, just as long as you die and im alive. Adgento as a character, did not have Honor, regret, mercy, courage. I dont care for your issues of honor or loyalty, or what you could do to me if i would catch you at full health..etc. You think Adgento as a character would think twice about knifing you when you were at 10% hp and sleeping? Only thing Adgento knew was money and gear. I played him as a person completely lacking in the moral department. Basically the only thing adgento cared about was to see your corpse at his feet and that fire opal ring you were wearing on his finger...nothing else mattered. Only time i broke that role was when i gave an elf sword spec warrior in mid 30's a necklace of prayer beeds after i killed him. I saw that scion was strong and felt sorry for him...

I will reply to no further posts on this subject.

I want this post to say so I'll tone it down a bit.

I never said you couldn't play a dishonorable character that ran around and ganged everyone but when you come here and pretend you are badass and rolled over everyone because your sooooo good your going to get flames, lots of them. If you want to play characters like that then do it, have fun, gang EVERYBODY; but don't come here and tell us your Zorszaul.

Considering that you had 14-16 deaths at 11-17 ranks
and perhaps a few more later. And you deleted at 178 hours
with 92% pk ratio. And many of your pk were solo....

In the last two years I died to a thief ( he was with a gang )
only once, and it wasn't you.
But still I'm pissed. Why?
Because I see immature person who levelsit with hero armor set

I knew you were going to stab me on the trade but I really didn't need to boots anyway. I would have put you on the end of my spear but I powerranked past you in about half a day. Stabbing someone on a trade is low :P Good PK ratio though for a thief who killed a lot. Well done.

I remember you from my super lowbie ranks, ranking in FON. I really liked you for some reason, dont know why really. It would just be like that with Adgento. He would like someone a lot for no reason at all, and also really hate someone from a couple of words. I did get your missives and wrote back :) Even after that long time i didnt see you, i still wouldnt have harmed you. :P
