I'm not really sure what to say to all that, other than this character really didn't do much for me. I will say RP-wise, this seemed to be an improvement over Lyug. However, I've been witness to dozens of average Heralds with a not-so-subtle streak of the melodramatic, and to me, Lauriel kind of fell into that niche. When you went out and got the tattoo, I didn't really care either way, but I think more than anything I was annoyed with your argument about how it was just on your skin/not part of your body and didn't affect your soul, etc., especially with some of the more venemous parts of your role. From an Immortal with a religion standpoint, it just didn't make sense.
Anyway, glad you're learning a lot and good luck with whatever you try next.
