Holy crap was that Darascus?!?! I fumbled about fleeing and trying
to grab the wrong potions from my sack for a bit and then...
you have to stand up to do that. :)

Ok lets go again!

"Group teleport"

Hrm where are we now?

I figured you didn't like me much though I did enjoy our interactions.

To be honest that one time when I attacked the Outlanders front door. I really didn't know it was there. heh.

and that teleport day was really fun.

I made Danrae for a couple reasons, but mainly to try and
help the outlanders get back on their feet, and actually see
what they were about. I think it was pretty obvious she was my
first outlander char. Well, why delete a leader char in a cabal
thats so strong right now? Thats just it, waking to find no
one but outlanders on, with one or two poor saps who were being
hounded just bored me silly. I'd rather be the poor one trying
their heart out against the odds. So, thought I'd best delete, it
always anoys me when people sit on leader positions and don't
log in that much, trying to join a cabal can be frustrating enough
without that added.
Outlander is a really interesting cabal, with frankly sickening
powers. I think the tribunal has things a lot harder, all across
the board, though I know many will argue. I know I never found a
warrant or dealing with guards a problem. Which is another thing,
and sorry to all those low level retrievers, but driving off lower
level retrievers with bioempathy, just left me feeling a complete
bully. I really didn't see what all the whining was about when
playing Kiamae and such, though. I think outlander has it a lot
easier.
Being made Sunwarden was another big surprise. Being a lot more used
to playing fort chars, being made leader before I'm used to even
reaching acolyte was a surprise to say the least. I hope my greeness
with the cabal didn't upset anyone =) Insects I think may need
looking at, they are disgusting, and just those alone made Danrae the strongest healer I've ever had in a fight...and I know, I've played
way too many healers. They are a great class for helping people, but
when your cabal is so dominant, they just become tools of ganging,
which is a little bleh.
Anyway, I had a lot of fun with this ducky, certainly learnt a
lot and met a lot of very nice people =) I usually say at this point
I'll post some goodbyes later, then never do *grin* so I won't this
time. Keep having folks =)

Ducktrainer.
65425, Well done. I liked your refusal to aid evil outlanders....

Danrae was a very well done good aligned. Outlander often blurs the line, but you didn't.

Some comments on your balance issues.

Communers can more or less ignore being wanted, I'll give you that.
But otherwise I think tribunal/outlanders are pretty evenly matched. They are both very strong on their main ground. But we have been around this before ;-)

Good outlander powers are very strong, but balanced by alignment.
Insect swarm is indeed disgusting, but fortunately very rare.
In general leader powers are disgusting with the glaring exception of poor old fortress.

Glad you tried outlander, even though I was pulling my hair out during a few raids with only the two of us.

I think the acolyte showed in your Sunwarden play. That was a good thing. I knew you were green, but, you had leader patience. And that's really what the Sunwarden thing is about.

Healers are supposed to be tough to kill and not tough on being able to kill. Looking at your pk record and having watched a lot, I kind of disagree with your statement about being a tough healer. No slight intended. I think you were a good healer and an excellent Sunwarden.

I completely understand about once things are no longer an underdog situation. Outlander is just one of those cabals that is more fun when things are tougher.

All in all, well done on your first Outlander with a leader position. Good luck with the next.
65441, Hey.

See you around. Its always pleasant to have a skilled healer about that knows how to keep people alive. Ive been on both sides of the outlander powers, and the only sick power really is insects. But I generally deal with it pretty easily with a certain transportation item I almost always keep on me when I play characters that use money.

Looking forward to seeing your next character, even though I wont know who it is untill your dead.
65411, One of the best Healers and characters.

I really liked Danrae and all that she entailed. It is sad to see her go but like all things, they must end eventually.

Well played and made CF enjoyable for two of my characters.
