That was my second come-back character (obviously, first was total failure named Cabbash). Daevryn decided not to give me a chance.

Heh, I've had no idea who is he until I started to search on Dio's forum (I've been trying to discover his playing time). I'm pretty sure I never been opposed to Nepenthe... well, I guess he just don't like russian IP's. *shrug* despite that I don't know any other russian player, but who cares!

Thanks for pissing me off, Nep. I hope you really enjoyed watching me, spending my life in Your Holy Shrine of Your Holy Game. You have decreased your playerbase by another character (thouh who cares for just one player, eh!).

I understand your frustration, but you are going too far man.

I had an RC contest winning, fairly tough, cabal leader, dirty boot thief who followed Daevryn and all I got in like 350 hours was a tell one day, followed by another tell that same day. No interactions at all, despite piles of boots heaped in Daev's shrine.

Admitedly, I don't think I will play a follower of one of Nep's Imm characters again based on that experience.

That being said, I realize, and you should too, that he has a life. Was he wasting your time? Not exactly. You could have written a note, tried email, etc. before giving up.


Now for Nep: Are you dormant or what man? You really dropped off.

Well, I know that right after I got married, I had better things to do.

And to clarify, I wouldn't play another follower (most likely) because his presence as an active imm seems to have dropped off.

When that changed, maybe I will give it a try.

Not really sure what else to say about it. I don't hate Russian IPs, but your prime time (and looks like, most but not all of your prays) were during the few hours a night I actually sleep.

CF has no bathroom commands, I'm sure it's because of "balance" issues ...

With Victoria, I had what felt like a lot of attention from Nep in the early days, and none in the later days. I don't think that is a reflection on his desire (particularly), so much as availability.

3 days without logging in even... that's nothing! Not quite sure why you would expect a response in that time period!

Your first pray was on Nov. 3rd. On Nov. 6th you sent up a pray saying you won't bother him anymore. Don't go making it sound like you have been around for a real long time when you obviously don't have a solid grasp on how to play and contact an imm for an empowerment character.

So we seem to have broke even.

Keeping you around seems like it would cause a greater loss in the long run.

Your first pray was on November 3rd, as far as I can tell. That's three days. It's quite conceivable that Daevryn wasn't logged in during that time - or not logged in while you were. Or not logged in with enough time to do a proper empowerment.

Or he may have watched you and decided you suck. I have no idea. My only point is that you may not want to get all bent out of shape about him hating russians or whatever, when it may just have been a busy weekend.

I CAN tell you that he didn't empower anyone ELSE during that time period, either.

So bottom line - if you want to quit playing, that's your choice. It'll be a shame if you quit because you imagine one of us has a grudge against you, because that's just not the case.

Whom did he pray too, how often.
Was it at the correct times?
Was he sticking around long enough after he prayed so the imm could read his role.
Was the imm even on? We are all human and have different things to do.
Oh well, one less russian :)

I once played a paladin of Shokai who was completely unempowered into the 40's. Sure I sucked bigtime in a PK, but I had wonderful RP experiences, and it was really interesting to play a character with such a handicap. The game isn't all about winning in a PK or being the most useful groupmate. Sometimes not having your skills or powers can make for interesting chances for interaction too.

I have a work, and I don't want a game to become a work.
I've had unempowered chars, or paladin of Uller, who got empowerment on 37 level, too. It's not fun to be a punching bag, especially now, when there are 70-80% of player are foes (due to role).

I don't think Twist is admiting Nep hates Russians. That's supposed to be a Family secret.
