Surprising you weren't maran. On the other hand, my last maran wasn't "promoted" until over 100 hours, as well. Overall, from an opposing POV I think your character bordered on the reckless - like you were trying to do things just beyond the capability of the character. I don't know who the player is, but if you keep at it with that attitude, eventually you are going to be playing a character capable of doing the type of heroic/legendary acts you tried to pull off.
