That in itself is all I have to say about you man. I have much more respect for new people that try, than a person like you. Bogba I even gave a funeral to, (I was online at time of his death etc) You I would likely have robbed your grave and laughed. (in char thing)
You really dont get it.
You speak of cloud giant rp and duergar rp as if they should rp a certain style just because of their race. While they have often similar backgrounds (duh) personality is controlled by the user only, as well as being raised. With that man, there is no such thing is rp based on race, only slightly influenced. (language to extent, customs to extent, being smart / wise or not, etc)
Same goes for guild man, its only a slight influencing factor, unless the user of the char itself WANTS it to be.
If you (the person behind Relegark) think you can come to this game, and decide how other chars should be played, I can already tell you, you are a complete and total assclown. Other people play their chars to the standards they set for them, not you. And truthfully I am thankful that they stood up for their characters? Why? Because you died so much if they followed you you would have just brought them down with you. You blamed everyone else for your complete and utter failures. Almost everyone that interacted with you in some manner thought very bad about you. There is REASON for that relagark. Think about it.
This game is quite likely one of the best out there, #### I have spent more time away from carrionfields than you have been playing it. I still come back time to time to play chars. my extensive knowledge as you call it (paying / bribing people into telling me where things are) isnt as extensive as you think. However, I dont sit on my ass with something jammed up it crying about it, I go after it. I learn, I grow.

I mean... to get right down to it, there's no roleplay on CF, it's not worth me roleplaying to roleplay with three or four people... I tried early on, but after a while, it just became a pk fest... village isn't what it used to be, I get chewed for the absolute stupidest reasons... so yeah, time to focus on work and g/f... as for PK, svirf dagger specs are meh... I needed more dex I think to land the more critical skills at the right times (artery absolutely sucks with a svirf fyi)... or it got downgraded whatever... I wish all of you luck and fun, i'm going back to my RPI :-) -cough- Harshlands... anyways, some shout-outs.

Khadrun - Your the man, I think your a little newer but sometimes you reflect a vet... liked the character, at first, I couldn't understand you for ####all, minotaur speech is so retarded, keep it on the says, there mind shouldn't operate that way, it's just absurd, like a race intended for immigrants :-P

Brinkmun - Liked the character, not cool at the end, I don't want to get too heavy into it, but the jist of it is you were wrong in my opinion, he was the only person I could pk, were on the way to Empire, to fight Imperials that are grouped with him, and we catch him in Hamsah. You fail a legsweep, he flees unharmed, I pounce and hurl before he can get away... sry, I don't see what was wrong and telling me to go out of my way to roleplay, when you and everyone else doesn't do it for ####... well, im not wasting my time doing something I dont like.

Tabaq - You suck, if more people like are you in the village it'll disolve completely... if you rped with Ragers back in the 3rd age, you wouldn't be behaving like a twit know-it-all who power-pks level 30 mages... I don't get you or what you think your accomplishing.

Yudran - Stop Lding all the f-cking time... kills any respect for the char... I go to get you drift wood, return 2 min later, you void out and the char quits out, lame.

Mcgrok - One of the only people who rped... mind you, I hate duergar RP, but you pull it off well. Didn't see much of you tho.

Majrt - Tough Svirf, liked fighting you.

Zesam - Great Rper, sorry I was always so bitter, Geren is a douche.

Geren - Ultimate Douche, with the knowledge you have why do you pick a combination like that... seriously... I mean if it's for a challenge, I can't fathom a 3-trick pony, and ordinarily one-trick, challenging anything.

Man, to complain about everyone else's roleplay when your stupid antics and comments break any semblance of in-character roleplay, forcing me to mildly break character to set you straight, is absolutely lame. Today, I ranked with a level 20 ranger. I'm 32. I would love to rank up (I don't plan on even sitting at 35). So don't act like I'm level-sitting. It's been annoying and unfortunate to have so very few viable ranking choices without breaking role.

Just because someone isn't doing what you want / think they should be doing / think you would be doing in their shoes... does not mean they aren't roleplaying.

Watching Relagark I couldn't help but feel that you thought you knew better than anyone how everyone should be playing their characters, and felt the need to talk down to them quasi-ICly to try to "educate" them. What you've posted only reinforces the truth of this.

Worry more about your RP and making your RP great than what everyone else is doing and you'll have more fun, here or anywhere else.

Typically, the imms take care of their own cabal and only get involved in other cabal stuff if it is absolutely necessary. I was the imm who stepped into the Destructor. If Kasty or Ysal had been around, you would have gotten a lot worse. The only thing I regret is not inflicting your character with hemmorhoids. But, then every one would have known who the imm was. :P

You make of CF what you put into it. Telling Taqab that he is a twit know-it-all when it was you telling everyone what they should and shouldn't be doing as far as tactics, etc. is ridiculous. You each hit level 30 within 12 hours of playing time. When you deleted, you had 21 more hours of playing time than him. Neither one of you have 100 hours. Neither character was/is at the level sitting stage by far.

Sorry, bubba. You are way off base here. Hopefully a bit of self-reflection will cool you down and help you move on.

Granted, the time I pasted you in Ostaligiah, you didn't have the head but if you're going to send out notes and talk all this smack about how your going to destroy me any and every where you find me, but can't stand and fight for 2 seconds, or simply sit on a road an say come out of the woods, or spam me when you get pissed off.. You need to rethink your OWN roleplay.

I liked your guts the rare times you would put it out there, but if it wasnt following my group around stealing kills off mobs, spouting off like a snot-nosed punk while sitting in the village, or attacking me while I'm fighting a berserker...

Personaly I think Trestadine is playing a chaotic evil ranger just fine. He is a killer in the woods, and of course sucks out of them. I used to get so frustrated with Nreisshe and Krynna because they hardly ever came out too. However, I know that they really aren't as good outsides of the woods, so why would he take many chances. The funny part I see in this whole thing is that you just ranted about him "not coming out of the woods" and that you clearly beat him, except that he was convulsing when YOU DIED, not him. You might want to rethink your logic a bit here. He won, you lost.

As for Lyristeon, come off it. He makes this game more fun for all of us, and you are just annoying. You think CF sucks and we all can't RP, I say... "don't let the door hit you on your way out." We need players, but we need good ones, not you.

Neither of you addressed the points, merely shoved them aside and said it's okay, because of these points... there's a reason this mud has a playerbase average of 30, when it used to be 60+... any real vet knows this, and any real vet understands the game is dying, we see rebounds rarely, and just as soon as they flare, they die down.

This always strikes me as an incredibly stupid thing to say. If you follow that logic, why would anyone go into the woods to fight him, knowing they won't fight as good inside of the woods as a ranger? Then, the rangers can sit in the woods with their thumbs up their asses, and everyone else can go around killing each other everywhere else. Why should everyone else be the ones taking chances, and going into the woods to fight the rangers in their terrain? Why should any of us take any chances whatsoever, if thats how people are going to think?

You can stay in the woods as a ranger 100% of the time, and play it safe. But if thats how you want to play, why even bother logging into a PK mud? Isn't the game about taking risks?

I said, its viable for them. Its definately not my way of playing, and I think most who know my characters can attest to that. I just think its up to them, however, a dagger spec outside of the woods should tool almost any ranger outside of the woods, IMO.
